I didn’t always know I’d end up here — Speaking on global stages, building housing projects, or advocating for communities across borders. Like many first-generation Americans, I grew up believing in the American Dream & did everything I was told would lead me there.

A woman with curly dark hair wearing an orange coat stands on an outdoor staircase at sunset. She looks over her shoulder with a serious expression, with greenery and modern black railings in the background.

I chased stability. I chased success. I chased a high-paying career so I could support my family.

In 2020, that path led me to Wall Street — working at the largest asset management firm in the world. On paper, I had made it. But in practice, I felt disconnected from the kind of impact I wanted my life to have.

So I walked away.

With no clear plan, I began volunteering with organizations serving people experiencing homelessness. What started as service quickly became purpose. I found myself in community meetings, advocating alongside residents, learning how housing policy actually affects real lives. One conversation turned into another, and before I knew it, I was speaking at the United Nations about the work I was doing on the ground.

That moment changed everything.

Since then, I’ve founded the Youth Housing Coalition to empower the next generation of leaders in community development, become a professional keynote speaker, and begun developing sustainable, equitable housing projects in Atlanta and Mexico. My work lives at the intersection of policy, storytelling, and land — because I believe where and how we build shapes who gets to belong.

I don’t just talk about change. I build it, document it, and teach others how to lead it.

Whether I’m speaking to students, executives, or civic leaders, my goal is always the same: to help people see that systems aren’t fixed, leadership isn’t reserved for a select few, and creating change doesn’t require permission — it requires clarity, courage, and community.

I’ve been honored with the Hispanic Executive 30 Under 30 Award for Social Impact and the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition NextGen Leader Award, and I’ve delivered TEDx talks on the future of housing. I hold a Master’s degree from Georgia State University and currently serve as a Global Ambassador for the United Nations Association.

But more than any title, this work is personal.

I was once a young woman who wanted to create change and didn’t know where to start. Now, I use my voice to help others find their starting point — and build something meaningful from there.
